ESA McIntosh is quality assured to IS0 9001: 2000 and is a member of Constructionline which is the UK’s largest register of pre-qualified construction contractors and consultants. Constructionline, owned and operated by The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) requires registered companies to meet rigorous pre-qualification requirements on financial stability, quality, track record and service. References are refreshed every year which means our credentials and performance are checked, up to date and reliable.

The Counties Furniture Group (CFG)
The Countries Furniture Group is a non profit making local authority controlled company with a membership of 79 local authorities. CFG exists to promote the availability of quality furniture for education by arranging the design and manufacture of a wide and integrated range of products, using the UK’s leading education furniture manufacturers. The ESA McIntosh Ultima 5000 range has been developed in consultation with CFG using the knowledge gathered from purchasers and members, to meet the needs of today’s curriculum.

Standards
ESA McIntosh take great care at all stages of the manufacturing and installation processes to comply to relevant British and International standards.

All core materials are sourced from FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) approved suppliers. All ranges are type tested to standards recommended by the DfES and the Scottish Executive. ESA McIntosh are listed in the DfES Broadsheet 31 Educational Furniture Database - Setting The Standards.

Environmental
ESA McIntosh work in conjunction with SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency) to ensure that all environmental regulations and requirements are met in full. All major suppliers of board material and solids are FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certified.
